4-Methylsulfinyl glucosinolate (Glucoraphanin, RAA), also known as glucoraphanin, is the precursor of sulforaphane, and its content is high in cruciferous vegetables, especially broccoli seeds or sprouts.

In black myrosinase or intestinal flora, glucoraphanin can be converted into sulforaphane. Compared with the famous sulforaphane, glucoraphanin is more stable, but the conversion rate in the human body varies according to individual constitutions. In 2017, the National Health and Family Planning Commission approved the water extract of broccoli seeds containing 13-20 percent of glucoraphanin as a new food raw material.
